Bentonville HQ Relocation Plans Underway by CEI

CEI Engineering Associates Inc., a national commercial development services firm, has announced plans to relocate its Bentonville headquarters to a new and larger address in the city. The company recently signed a lease for 36,851 square feet of space in the Rice Office Complex (ROC), a 33-acre office park located at 2500 N.E. 11th St. in Bentonville.

The new headquarters will span two floors and will be located just north of the Arkansas Highway 72 exit off Interstate 49. CEI will be subleasing the space from Genpact, a global professional services firm based in New York. The four-story building, which was constructed in 2020, is owned by ROC Complex I LLC.

David Erstine and Hunter Groce with CBRE in Fayetteville brokered the deal on behalf of Genpact. This relocation will more than double CEI’s current office footprint, as the company currently leases approximately 14,000 square feet in the Regency Park Business Centre in Bentonville.

According to Erstine, there has been a noticeable trend of engineering firms expanding in the market. The relocation is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2024, and CEI is working with Ed Belto from Moses Tucker Partners in Bentonville to market their existing offices near Walton Boulevard, which are owned by Rose Properties LLC.

CEI Engineering Associates Inc. has been providing civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture services for 50 years to clients across the region, state, and nation. In addition to its headquarters in Bentonville, the firm has offices in Dallas, Fresno, Houston, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Nashville, and Oklahoma City.

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, CEI plans to host an official celebration later this fall. The company’s expansion and relocation reflect its continued growth and commitment to providing high-quality services to its clients.

As CEI Engineering Associates Inc. prepares to move into its new Bentonville headquarters, the company is excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. The larger space will accommodate the firm’s expanding workforce and allow for future growth and development. With its strong presence in multiple cities across the country, CEI is well-positioned to continue serving its clients and contributing to the development of commercial projects nationwide.
