In the Dnipropetrovsk region, members of criminal organizations will be tried for drug sales and fraud
Fourteen men will be tried in the Dnipropetrovsk region for involvement in fraud, illegal drug production, and sales. The pre-trial investigation found that two brothers from Kryvyi Rih were in charge of the criminal organizations, one responsible for a fraudulent scheme seizing citizens’ funds via phishing sites under the guise of social payments, and the other for drug sales. The second organization was involved in the cultivation and sale of cannabis, where they set up a laboratory and distributed drugs throughout the city. Law enforcement conducted over 30 searches, seizing mobile phones, computer equipment, bank cards, cannabis, electronic scales, weapons, and cartridges. The accused are currently in custody, and their immovable and movable property has been seized.
