Brown also touched on his Railway Safety Act, a bipartisan law co-sponsored with U.S. Senator J.D. Vance aimed at enhancing rail safety nationwide.
He discussed his strategies for strengthening U.S. supply chains, creating domestic jobs and positioning Ohio as a leading force in future driving industries. “We’re about producing more in America and Ohio, shortening our supply chains, creating jobs at home and positioning our state to lead in the industries we know are going to drive the economy over the coming decades,” Brown stated.
Brown’s Fight Against Illicit Fentanyl Supply Chain
As Chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, Brown discussed the Fentanyl Eradication and Narcotics Deterrence (FEND) Off Fentanyl Act. The bill, aimed at targeting the illicit fentanyl supply chain, passed the Senate as part of the national defense bill.
