The Chicago police department is investigating a homicide case after a woman was found dead in Chatham, a neighborhood in Chicago. The unidentified woman was discovered around 9 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Vernon Street, outdoors and with signs of neck trauma. As of yet, no arrests have been made in relation to the homicide, and the incident is still under active investigation. The police are requesting anyone with potentially useful information to contact them.
