A woman was found dead on Sunday morning in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The unidentified woman was discovered unresponsive outside around 9 a.m. in the 8200 block of South Vernon Avenue, according to the police. She had apparent trauma to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. At the time of reporting, no one had been taken into custody relating to the case.
