Long Beach police have arrested Kevin Parks, a man suspected of sexually assaulting an elderly woman after tricking his way into her home by suggesting he knew her son. The attack was reported on Friday morning in Bluff Heights, Long Beach. Parks was arrested without incident on Saturday and charged with multiple offenses, including rape by force and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is currently being held on $1 million bail. Long Beach Police Department has commended its officers for their diligent work, and reminded residents to always verify the identity of unknown people at the door.
