The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense has confirmed that Russian forces are utilising Starlink satellite communication systems in their operations. Starlink terminals have been discovered among the Russian 83rd separate amphibious assault brigade, whose forces are currently active in the Donetsk region near Klishchiivka and Andriivka. The extent of Russian Starlink usage in the conflict is reportedly increasing. Starlink, a company belonging to Elon Musk, has been supplying the Ukrainian military with its satellite communication systems since the start of the full-scale invasion. Musk’s refusal to activate Starlink near Crimea is currently under investigation by the US Senate Committee.
