SEPTA has introduced a feature allowing riders to pay for up to five people with a single SEPTA Key card. The multi-rider feature can be utilized across all buses, trolleys, subways, and Regional Rail trains, including the Norristown High Speed Line. To avail of the feature, riders have to tap their Key cards on the validator for each person they’re paying for. The autoload function on their Travel Wallet should be activated, with a balance that covers each rider’s minimum fare. Standard fare rules still apply, and riders travelling together must begin and end their trips at the same stations.
