Bancroft Elementary School in Spring Valley is set to reopen on February 26 following repairs from extensive rain and flood damage. All 18 classrooms required new flooring, alongside other flood and water damage repairs. The school, district, and contractors worked together to reopen the school in just five weeks. In the meantime, students and staff were accommodated at Spring Valley Academy, a nearby middle school. The cost of the repairs is primarily covered by insurance, with the remainder funded by state and federal resources.
