Activists from the NGO “Protection — volunteer union” have joined the national initiative “Lids to the enemies!” initiated by the charity fund “Oves”. The initiative involves collecting bottle caps and other plastic containers to recycle them and use the funds to purchase UAVs. The initiative has been implemented in various regions of Khmelnytsky, with the residents of Horodok community having collected over 600 kg of plastic caps in just over a year. The collected caps are specifically from food products, water, yogurts, and juices, and are recycled into plastic pellets used to make furniture, stationery, and disposable tableware. The initiative is beneficial not only in raising funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also for environmental protection.
