The North Texas LGBT Chamber of Commerce has celebrated the grand opening of Room For Change’s new offices in Oak Lawn, a neighborhood known for its LGBTQ+ community. Room For Change is a counseling service that offers both in-person and teletherapy sessions to individuals, couples, and adolescents. Their services include support for coming out, gender-affirming care, and ethical non-monogamy, among others. In addition, Room For Change has launched the Art Project to create an affirming environment decorated with works by LGBTQ+ artists. The purpose of the art is to ignite conversations, challenge the status quo, and promote acceptance and inclusion.
