A man under the influence of drugs endangered himself by wandering in the street and then escalated the situation by physically fighting with his elderly father and barricading himself in a home on Brittmoore Road. After several hours of standoff, police deployed gas canisters into the house. The man jumped out of a window to escape the gas, leading to his arrest. He is now facing charges of felony injury to an elderly individual.
