Immersive Van Gogh exhibit returning to Del Mar Fairgrounds with new sister show: ‘Beyond Monet’
The “Beyond Van Gogh” exhibition, which opened at the Del Mar Fairgrounds two years ago, attracted over 200,000 visitors and is set to return alongside a new show, “Beyond Monet.” Produced by Toronto-based Paquin Entertainment Group, both exhibitions use projection-mapping and digital technology to animate the 19th-century paintings. “Beyond Van Gogh” has sold more than 7 million tickets worldwide since its 2020 launch, whereas “Beyond Monet,” which premiered in August 2021, is making its first visit to San Diego. “Beyond Monet” features over 400 of Monet’s most famous works. Tickets can be purchased online, and combo tickets for both shows are available.
