Baltimore Police Respond to a ‘Mass Shooting Incident’

Two people were killed and 28 others were injured in a mass shooting at a block party in Baltimore, according to officials. Baltimore Police Acting Commissioner Richard Worley stated that multiple calls were received by the police after 12:30 a.m., and upon arrival, they discovered one woman dead and nine others with gunshot wounds. The injured victims were immediately transported to nearby hospitals, with three of them being in critical condition. The suspect(s) responsible for the shooting are still at large, and investigators have yet to determine a motive for the incident.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott condemned the shooting, describing it as a “reckless, cowardly act” that has forever changed the lives of many and claimed the lives of two individuals.
