The Ukrainian NGO “Volunteer Leader,” guided by Nina Korniyenko, is providing aid to soldiers at the front lines, not only supplying equipment but also food and water. The volunteer group has essentially turned into a food enterprise, working tirelessly since the inception of the full-scale invasion. The main production facilities are located in Khmelnytsky and the village of Kolyban. However, the group is in desperate need of more volunteer hands both in Khmelnytsky and in the villages where they collaborate with charitable foundations. In addition to supplying food, the volunteers bake honey cookies in the shape of hearts for the soldiers. The NGO is planning to expand its kitchen with the help of the co-founder of the charitable foundation “Planet of Love,” Serhiy Yarmolenko.
