The Khmelnytskyi Municipal Road Construction, Maintenance, and Operation (KP BRED) company, which is a structural unit of the Khmelnytskyi City Council Executive Committee, has been providing essential services in the city. These include maintenance of roads, sidewalks, traffic lights, and, among others, waste disposal. The company celebrated its 20th anniversary in March, after its establishment followed a road division that had been part of the Khmelnytskyi City Municipal Enterprise since the 1950s. Despite the ongoing war and the consequent reduction of funds from the city budget, the company continues its operations, including spring cleaning tasks and supporting the city’s defense forces. KP BRED is also dealing with the challenges of rising costs of heating, natural gas, electricity, fuel, and spare parts.
