However, Jason Miller, Trump’s Chief Spokesperson, denied the vice president’s authority to overturn the election while testifying to the January 6th Committee under oath. Soon after, he returned to his team’s previous rhetoric and went on Fox News saying that the vice president absolutely had the power to overturn the election.
