The annual campaign “For a Clean Environment” and “Day of Beautification of Settlements” resulted in large-scale clean-ups of territories related to institutions and enterprises in a local community. Over a month, employees of health care, education, culture establishments, enterprises, and organizations tidied up the areas assigned to them. Important tasks included the elimination of unauthorized dumpsites, with over 70 littered locations cleaned and almost 230 tons of garbage removed. Work also included clearing streets, repairing roads and sidewalks, and maintaining green zones, water bodies, parks, and squares. Over 1400 participants, including municipal council departments, students, businesses, and concerned citizens, joined the campaign.
