Eat Drink HTX, a Houston-based food event, has returned for its third year, occurring from February 15 to February 29. The event, similar to Houston Restaurant Week (HRW), allows participating restaurants to serve prix fixe menus at lower prices, enabling coffee shops, cafes, and fast-casual restaurants to take part. For each meal sold, the organizers, The Cleverley Stone Foundation, will donate $1 or $3 to the Houston Food Bank and DePelchin Children’s Center. Unlike HRW, Eat Drink HTX does not include fine dining establishments but does feature several newly opened restaurants. The Cleverley Stone Foundation recently announced that the HRW raised over $1.8 million for the Houston Food Bank.
