Woman kidnapped at Walmart forced to drive at gunpoint: cops

A woman in Maine has reported being kidnapped at gunpoint from a Walmart parking lot. The victim claims that Katelynn McLaughlin, a 30-year-old from Portland whom she was meeting, and Emmanual Hurtado, a 33-year-old stranger, forced her to drive for approximately 20 minutes. It’s reported that Hurtado stole ‘personal property’ and police believe McLaughlin was also involved in the theft. Both McLaughlin and Hurtado have been arrested on several charges including kidnapping and robbery. Further details about the incident are currently unknown.
