The South Carolina Republican primary is taking place today, with voters deciding between former President Donald Trump and former Governor Nikki Haley, among others. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters can check their polling locations at scvotes.gov. State GOP Chairman Drew McKissick has estimated that up to 1 million people could vote in this primary. Seven names are on the ballot, but Chris Christie, Ron DeSantis, and Vivek Ramaswamy have withdrawn from the race. The ballot also includes three advisory questions for voters to signal their stance on various issues, including voter registration by party, judicial reforms, and tort reform.
