Sweetpea, the smallest puppy to have ever participated in the Puppy Bowl, has sadly passed away due to health complications. Subsequent to being rescued by a shelter specializing in special needs puppies, Sweetpea was recognized for her small stature, weighing just 1.7 pounds at the time of the Puppy Bowl. As a tribute to her memory, Puppy Bowl XX has been dedicated to Sweetpea. Sweetpea, a Cavapoo, has received an outpouring of love and support from the community since her passing, reflecting her popularity among fans. Jennifer Siegel, the director of Smyrna animal rescue Bosley’s Place, expressed her honor in being Sweetpea’s mom.
