An investigation is ongoing into a substitute teacher alleged to have watched adult content in a class at Cameron Elementary School in West Covina. After the incident was reported by students, the district took immediate action, removing the teacher from the classroom and the school. There were also allegations of the teacher stopping students from leaving the classroom, and an unconfirmed claim of the teacher groping a female student. The principal contacted parents and the West Covina Police Department following the incident. It is yet unknown if any legal action will be taken against the substitute teacher due to lack of evidence.
