Xander Schauffele and Will Zalatoris were among four golfers to shoot 6-under 65s on Saturday in the third round of the $20 million Genesis Invitational, tying for second two strokes behind Patrick Cantlay. The performance marked a career-low score for Schauffele at the Pacific Palisades course. Schauffele, who started the round with an eagle, played his last 27 holes at 10-under, while Zalatoris birdied six holes. Cantlay, a former UCLA star and the tournament favorite, played 22 consecutive bogey-free holes before bogeying the third and 17th holes on Saturday. The final round will see Cantlay and Schauffele, who often play practice rounds together, in the final twosome.
