The first playoff match of the Europa League 1/16 finals for the 2023/24 season is set to take place on Thursday, February 15, between the Donetsk ‘Miner’ and the French ‘Marseille’. The match will be held at the Volksparkstadion arena in Hamburg, Germany, starting at 19:45 Kyiv time. The Donetsk club, also known as the ‘miners’, has been forced to hold all European Cup matches outside of Ukraine due to ongoing war with Russian occupants.
