Russian losses were named in the “Tavria” OSUV: Avdiivka fulfilled the mission of draining the Russian reserve
Since January 1 of this year, the Russian military has suffered over 20,500 casualties, 201 lost tanks, and 492 destroyed armored fighting vehicles in the Avdiyivka direction, according to Dmytro Lykhova, spokesman of the operational-strategic group of troops “Tavria”. During the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Avdiyivka, there were no mass casualties among the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Lykhova highlighted that the operation was not a tragedy for the Ukrainian army and the total number of daily losses were close to the average. However, the exact number of people killed and captured by the Russians during the withdrawal operation have yet to be confirmed.
