Amazon’s Prime Video has selected Asif Kapadia to direct a documentary on tennis player Roger Federer. The documentary will showcase Federer’s last 12 days in his professional tennis career and will be available for streaming on Prime Video in over 240 countries. The film will also feature interviews with Federer’s tennis rivals and friends, such as Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray. Federer announced his retirement from professional tennis in 2022 at 41 years old, with 20 Grand Slam titles to his name. Asif Kapadia is known for his documentaries like Amy, Senna, and Diego Maradona.
