Phoenix Rising FC paving way for Arizona’s soccer future

Phoenix Rising FC’s youth soccer league has become a significant player development platform since its inception in 2018, thanks to the merger with Scottsdale Soccer Blackhawks. With over 3,000 boys and girls taking part in recreational and competitive programs, it is the largest soccer club in Arizona. The organization provides a direct pathway from youth soccer to professional soccer and includes membership in the Elite Clubs National League, the MLS Academy Program, and a College Advisory Program. The merger has also allowed the club to expand its model across Arizona, giving kids ample opportunities to develop into professional athletes. Future plans include the potential involvement in the USL Super League, which would bring a high level of professional women’s soccer to Arizona.
