A motorcyclist died in a collision with an SUV in Temecula on Friday. The Riverside County Sheriffs Department’s Southwest Station was alerted about a major traffic accident at the intersection of Rancho California Road and Margarita Road. Upon arrival, deputies found the SUV and the motorcycle, with the motorcyclist pronounced dead at the scene. According to a preliminary investigation, the SUV had made a left turn out of a nearby business, leading to the collision. The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital, with it being unclear if alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
