Arizona State baseball hosts Santa Clara at Phoenix Municipal Stadium

The Arizona State baseball team is set to begin the 2024 season with renewed vigor after a disappointing end to the 2023 season. The Sun Devils were ranked in the Top 20 and had a strong chance of returning to the NCAA Tournament until a late-season skid. ASU Coach, Willie Bloomquist, and pitching coach, Sam Peraza, are focusing on developing young talent, and have announced freshmen players Thomas Burns and Cole Carlon as the opening night starter and closer respectively. Another key player will be junior infielder Efrain Manzo, who led the Broncos with 18 home runs and 51 RBIs. The season will kick off at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against the Santa Clara Broncos.
