A man and woman were shot while sitting in a car on Diamond Street in North Philadelphia, according to Philadelphia police. The shooting occurred around 1:48 a.m., resulting in a 41-year-old man being shot eight times, including in the chest, and a 19-year-old woman shot three times in the arm. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital, where the woman was reported in stable condition and the man in critical condition. Police found 12 shell casings at the scene and are currently investigating the motive behind the shooting.
