Georgia football announces death of Uga X, winningest mascot in school history: ‘A Damn Good Dawg’

The beloved mascot of the Georgia Bulldogs, Uga X, has died in his sleep at his home in Savannah, the university’s athletic association confirmed. The 10-year-old English bulldog, also known as “Que,” had been cared for by the Seiler family for nearly seven decades. Uga X retired from his role after Georgia won its second consecutive College Football Playoff National Championship. The mascot will be remembered for his time on the sidelines, during which the Bulldogs went 91-18 and won two Southeastern Conference championships. Uga X’s retirement marks the transition to the next mascot in the lineage, Uga XI.
