The KhmelnytskVodokanal municipal enterprise in Ukraine plans to purchase and install a solar power station to store energy for stable operation during blackouts. The project, which is estimated to cost 30 million hryvnia, was approved by the executive committee of the city council on November 22. The solar power station and the municipal enterprise’s building are to serve as collateral for the loan, which will not exceed 10 years and is expected to be granted by Ukrgasbank. The maximum interest rate will be 20% during wartime and 90 days after its end, and the first installment should not exceed 30% of the total loan amount.
