In honor of Ukraine’s Defender Day, members of the Khmelnytskyi unit of the National Guard held a lesson on courage for students of a local school. They talked about the important tasks of the National Guard of Ukraine and the importance of patriotic education. Soldiers discussed their daily service, the main tasks of the unit including the protection of civilians, participation in combat, public order protection, and defense of strategic objects. The aim of these lessons is to emphasize the importance of being prepared to defend your homeland and help children understand how they can contribute to strengthening peace and security in Ukraine. The children had the opportunity to ask many questions about the service, not only about combat tasks but also about the daily life of soldiers.
