The 44th session of the Khmelnytskyi City Council took place under the chairmanship of Oleksandr Symchishin. Despite air raid interruptions, council members voted on vital issues, mostly regarding the commemoration of the Heroes-Defenders ahead of City Day. Awards and cash payments of 160,000 UAH will be given to the families of 72 posthumously honored warriors. The city council also officially established the Yevhen Roldugin Literary Prize, renamed a street after Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Dudchenko, and supported the creation of another industrial park in the Khmelnytskyi community.
