The city of Khmelnytskyi in Ukraine recently held its annual Days of Sustainable Energy, a week-long event aimed at educating the public about energy efficiency and sustainable development. The event was attended by students, educators, representatives of municipal enterprises, and homeowners’ associations. Activities included lectures on energy efficiency for older students, drawing competitions for younger students, and educational events at kindergartens. The energy management department also conducted an open lesson at the Energy Efficiency Center for high school students and organized trips to the waste management center. The Days of Sustainable Energy are part of the Covenant of Mayors initiative, aimed at boosting awareness about modern and efficient ways of using energy.
