Lyceum No. 11 in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine marked the start of the 2024/2025 academic year with 760 students. This academic lyceum, previously known as Gymnasium No. 2, has 24 classes including three seventh grades, four eighth grades, and five ninth grades. The lyceum principal, Viktor Baidych, reveals that the lyceum offers four educational profiles: English language, history and law, mathematics, and natural sciences. In response to the ongoing war, the lyceum has two generators to provide energy for classrooms and shelters, but is still seeking ways to generate power for the canteen and kitchen. This year, Lyceum No. 11 is one of three educational institutions in the community priming students for the defense of Ukraine, with a laser shooting range and drone technology lessons.
