The article reports on a comprehensive health campaign in Ukraine that took place from July 10 to August 3 in conjunction with World Hepatitis Day (July 28). The campaign was led by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Disease Control and Prevention Center and involved Hepatitis testing in 60 communities across the region. A total of 2832 people were tested for Hepatitis C and 1785 for Hepatitis B, revealing 26 positive Hepatitis C cases and 6 positive Hepatitis B cases. The patients with positive results were referred for further consultations and examinations. The article emphasizes that a positive rapid test result should not be the sole basis for starting treatment, and that the diagnosis should be further confirmed.
