An informational meeting for deputies of the city council, chaired by the Secretary of the City Council, Vitaliy Didenko, took place in the session hall of the city council on July 10. The deputies and their assistants gathered to discuss the main innovations in anti-corruption legislation. Anatoliy Panchuk, the head of the department for the prevention and detection of corruption, provided information about the principles of anti-corruption policy and conflicts of interest. The city council deputies and their assistants were briefed on the different types of conflicts of interest, the algorithm of action in their occurrence, and the responsibility for violating voting procedure rules. Actions that qualify as corrupt and are punishable by administrative, civil law disciplinary, and even criminal responsibility, were also discussed.
