The city of Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, has been approved to join the Eurocities Association at a meeting held during the annual conference in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The city’s Mayor, Oleksandr Symchyshyn, announced this decision via social media. He stated that joining the association would open new opportunities for the city, allowing it to represent itself on the international stage, thus drawing attention to its achievements and potential. Eurocities is a leading international organization consisting of over 200 European cities that work collectively to improve the quality of life for 150 million people. The organization covers various sectors such as culture, mobility, environment protection, social issues, economic development, and smart urban planning.
