A specialized operating room for purulent surgery has been established at Khmelnytskyi City Hospital. The renovation cost approximately 1 million UAH, with another 1.5 million UAH allocated from the community budget for the purchase of medical equipment for the operating room. According to Valeriy Garbuziuk, director of the hospital, the team of doctors and medical staff is ready to provide a high level of medical aid. He also noted that the operating room’s close proximity to the surgical department would prevent the spread of infections. In May this year, the hospital purchased equipment costing 26.5 million UAH from the city budget.
