The Kieth Lee Aftermath and One Mistaken Catering Company

Seasoned Street Food, a Dallas-based catering company, experienced a significant blow to its online reputation when it was mistakenly accused of pocketing a $4,000 tip meant for staff. The controversy arose from a misunderstanding, as the issue occurred at a similarly named but unaffiliated food truck, Sweetly Seasoned Food Truck. The mix-up resulted in Seasoned Street Food’s Google rating dropping from five stars to three due to a wave of negative reviews and phone calls. The company’s online reputation was somewhat restored when the mistake was realized and supporters rallied to report and replace the negative reviews. Now, Seasoned Street Food holds a 4.9-star rating on Google and has a disclaimer on its website clarifying it is not Sweetly Seasoned Food Truck.
