The Khmelnytsky City Council in Ukraine has launched a new project, “Grateful Khmelnytsky,” aimed at supporting the military and veteran community through the involvement of socially conscious businesses. The initiative aims to compile information about institutions, enterprises, and companies in Khmelnytsky that are willing to offer discounts and special offers to active military personnel and veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian war. The project has already started on the Khmelnytsky City Council website, with 44 participants registered so far, including cafes, hairdressers, dry cleaners, and eateries. The initiative was suggested by entrepreneurs who have been offering discounts and special conditions to veterans since 2014.
