The first day of the “Youth Worker” training program (basic level) took place at the Youth Centre, Khmelnytskyi City Council, in cooperation with the All-Ukrainian Youth Center, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine. The “Youth Worker” is a program to develop skills for working in the field of youth policy and interaction with the youth. Participants include leaders and activists of public, charitable organizations, public servants responsible for implementing youth policy at local and regional levels, and employees of youth centers. The first day of the program focused on familiarizing participants with general issues of youth work. The role of a youth worker is not limited to organizing entertainment events; they are involved in a wide spectrum of youth activities.
