In Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, a School of UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) pilots has been established and equipped with funds from the city budget. The school’s objective is to assist the Defense Forces in preparing qualified specialists and to improve the training level of soldiers. The mayor of the city, Oleksandr Simchishin, announced the news on social networks. The school has training classes, drone repair and testing rooms, and a range of auxiliary rooms. The training is intensive and lasts 22 days. 1.5 million UAH was allocated from the city budget for the opening of the school, and necessary equipment, simulators, training and real quadcopters, and UAVs were purchased.
