The Ukrainian Pension Fund has recalculated pensions for 31.9k working pensioners (35.1% of the total number) in 2024, taking into account an increased work period, according to Oleksandr Krupa, the head of the Pension Fund’s main office in the Khmelnytskyi region. For 8.6k people (or 27%), the recalculation was performed considering their salary. This automatic recalculation is conducted annually from April 1 for those who have been employed for at least 24 months since the previous recalculation or pension appointment. The recalculation does not apply to pensions that were recalculated after April 1, 2022, or when there was a transition from one type of pension to another.
