On May 10, another train arrived in Khmelnitsky with evacuated Ukrainians from Kherson. The city of Kherson is still suffering from rocket attacks and shelling, often leaving the city without electricity and water. After its de-occupation, restoration work began, but daily attacks continue to impede these efforts. Khmelnitsky is providing temporary shelter to the evacuated Kherson citizens during these difficult times. At the railway station, rescuers helped the mostly elderly arrivals carry their belongings, and DSNS psychologists provided support to those who needed it.
