1-year-old stabbed outside synagogue in Center City

A 1-year-old boy was stabbed in the forearm outside Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel synagogue in Center City. The incident occurred on the 300 block of South 18th Street, and the child was taken to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he is listed in stable condition. In a statement, synagogue officials clarified that the stabbing was not an antisemitic attack and the involved parties were not connected to the synagogue.
