Schools painting quite a talented picture

The Grossmont Union High School District (GUHSD) in East San Diego County, consisting of 12 schools, participated in the 2nd Annual Foothills Art Association Art show. Christine Colera, art department chair at Helix Charter, a GUHSD art council member and Foothills Art Association member, expressed gratitude for the partnership and noted the importance of this event for students to showcase their work and receive public feedback. She hoped for the continuation of this symbiotic relationship, stating it brings more public exposure and potential members to the gallery. A public choice award was offered with Foothills generously donating a prize and junior memberships to winners.
