Deputies chase teen gunman on Florida beach


A teenager in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, was chased by the Volusia County Sheriff’s deputies after brandishing a gun among a crowd of spring breakers. The incident occurred on a Thursday afternoon and led to a chase, during which the teen threw his weapon and a black bag containing marijuana into the water before eventually surrendering. The teenager, Felixander Solis-Guzman, is now facing multiple charges, including firearm possession by a minor, sale of marijuana, and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. Solis-Guzman will be prosecuted as an adult and was also arrested for seven active no-bond warrants from Orange County.
